We all know the dangers of drinking and calling/texting/etc. but it's recently come to my attention that drinking and writing letters to the editor should also be included in that whole warning-on-the-side-of-the-can thing. That way, when people begin getting really pissed off, we have someone to blame.
"Come to my attention"such a nice way to say that my oldest sister has flipped her lid in the greatest 'lock her in the attic until we're on a reality show' way. This crazy woman (bless her heart) has begun drunken letter-writing to the editor of the local newspaper. While unemployment is a great issue to discuss, I about shit a brick when she closed with this line;
Quite honestly it's much more important than all this crap about marijuana when most of the people complaining about cannabis don't even really know what the hell they are talking about.
I seriously laughed my ass off for about ten minutes. And then I went out, bought more beer and made sure the internet connection was good. I mean, I can't pass up this kind of fodder.

Occasionally I will write a post for my blog late in the evening. I then have to go back the next morning and do a lot of revisions. It all sounded so funny, and intelligent when you had a few drinks the night before.
